Richard & Brittany are getting married this fall! They were really up for anything and brought their dog Chloe along for the ride. You instantly get a vibe that they are totally in love and can have a lot of fun with each other. I mean seriously, for a Packer fan to marry a Vikings fan - you know it must be true love!!!

Jordan & Jazmin were married in Beloit and held their reception just south of there on a tree farm. The tree farm was a gorgeous venue for a wedding - there were a ton of different areas we could use for pictures. It did storm like crazy and we ended up spending most of our evening inside, but thankfully we got a lot of family pictures taken before the wedding!

Hudson & Sawyer are regulars at our studio ... although I do believe this is the 1st time we have actually shot outside (except for once when Hudson wasn't walking yet). Hudson is 2 and he is quite the little ham. He loves trains, tractors, and cookies (who doesn't)! It's amazing what a train whistle app on your iPhone can do to make the smiles happen! Sawyer just turned 6 months and she is quite the little lady. She didn't mind the grass (which is a big plus since this year almost all of our kids have hated it). The tutus were made by My Mommy Boutique. Seriously - if you are ever in need of a tutu, give her a call. She's in Tomah and she can make anything!

I met the Barner family in Sparta for a lovely evening session. I love evening sessions. The weather is starting to cool off, the light is gorgeous, etc. These three little guys keep mom and dad pretty busy - but they all happened to smile at the same time for quite a few shots.

We have the pleasure of shooting Megan & Coady's wedding this fall. I love when you book an engagement session with your wedding because it gives us a chance to work with you prior to the big day. Let's face it - almost everyone is nervous on their wedding day - and having a photographer follow you all around can make it more nerve-racking. SOOO, this gives us a chance to work together. You get to learn that I do not know my right from my left and it's better if I just point to where I want you to move. I get to figure out what I need to say to make you smile naturally and avoid the fake smiles. By the time I show up at your wedding - we know each other outside of just meeting and discussing wedding details and it makes the day go much smoother!
